Good Afternoon Joy Pod Families,
Important As you know we are headed to Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump tomorrow. We are asking that students meet at the buses between 8:00-8:15 so that we can depart right at 8:25. If your child goes to Stem, we will go and gather them at 8:10. Please be reminded that we will also not return to the school until around 5:00 pm. We will post updates on our Twitter account @JoyPod2020 so you will be kept up to date with our whereabouts. We will likely post a message once we are on the north part of Stoney Trail to let you know when we are 15 minutes away.
We have also asked that the students do not bring any electronic devices with them on the bus. They are welcome to bring colouring/activity/books, etc but no music, tablets, etc. We will have a movie playing on the way home.
Please ensure you send extra food with your child as it is a long day and they will be able to eat on the bus on their way back to the school.
It is quite windy down south so please ensure that your child has a warm jacket and comfortable walking shoes. Snow pants and winter boots are not recommended as they are quite bulky.
We are all looking very forward to the experience tomorrow will bring.
