-Bracelets are still on sale ($3 each) to raise money for our peace poles. We've had some students have their bracelets go missing, so please remind your child to take care of their bracelet!
-Book Orders will officially go home tomorrow; however, some took them home today. They are due this Thursday October 10th.
Scholastic Book Orders
Mr. Lawson will be in charge of book orders for the JOY POD. Please take a few moments to explore the selection together and let your child help choose books he or she is excited to read. When children choose their own books to read for pleasure, they enjoy reading more and spend more time doing it!
Once you’ve made your selections, there are two ways to order:
- Submit your order to Mr. Lawson and pay by credit card or PayPal online at Your online order will be sent to me automatically.
- Return the paper order form to me with a cheque made out to Scholastic Canada.
HIGHLIGHTS
Outer space is our theme for ignite this week. Students were exercising this morning and looking for ways to be creative in exploring outer space.
We continued to look at place value this morning. Ask your child what they've been learning about place value.
We looked at Good Fit Books today. Students learned that books have a purpose, much like shoes and some books are good fit books just like some shoes fit well and some don't.
