Today we talked about the importance of Glenbow Ranch and Eric Harvie's legacy. The students journaled and asked questions about his story and philanthropic nature.

Today the students started exploring subtraction. We have begun looking closely at different subtraction strategies and practiced using strategies they are familiar with. This will be our starting point as we work toward improving flexible thinking in subtraction and choosing efficient strategies.
During Ignite, some students have been working on designing an invention. Their plan needs to include materials, a labeled diagram, and the purpose of the invention.
