Wednesday, Sept. 25

We went for a wonderful walk this morning inquiring into the wolf willow berry.  We showed reciprocity as we gathered as many of the berries as we could find (which were few).  The students estimated how many berries the group gathered and we will be doing place value work with the quantity.  If you happen to be out for a walk in the coulee and come across more wolf willow berries please gather them for us.  We are also going to be using them for other projects.

Mr. Lawson read "The Legend of Buffalo Stone", a Blackfoot story which had many lessons about the importance of buffalo and their uses.

Pledge forms for Terry Fox went home today.  Our run will be held this Friday at TMC at 8:45.

Dear Eric Harvie School Community,

On Friday, September 27th, 2019, Eric Harvie School will be taking part in the Terry Fox Run together with Tuscany School and Twelve Mile Coulee School. This is a wonderful community event where over 1800 learners join together to raise money and awareness towards the legacy of Terry Fox and Cancer research.

We would greatly appreciate your support in helping our learners walk the return trip to Twelve Mile Coulee School and to coordinate the snack at TMC School. Please see the Sign Up Genius at:
