This morning during Ignite, the students were challenged to use the materials available to create a miniature model of their dream home.  Other options were to be active by playing mini sticks hockey with creative objects.  Another option was to finger knit.  So many students got a chance to be teachers/supporters and many others were excited to learn this new skill.

In writing today, the students had another opportunity to add more detail and edit their writing from last day.  Many students found areas to improve such as spelling, capital letters, and missing words.

The students started a project where they are learning about personification and telling a story about objects by giving personal characteristics.  The students will be creating dialogue and scenes about animals and objects from the coulee.  They will then film their actions and add special effects.
