-Picture Day tomorrow!!
-We will be going to the coulee this Wednesday September 25th in the morning.
-Terry Fox Run is this Friday September 27th. We will be running no matter the weather so please dress for the weather.
-Terry Fox Fundraising starts today. Our school goal is $4500. Forms will be sent home today and/or you can bring a donation to hand in at the office.
-Thanks to parents and students who attended our Open House this past Thursday. It was great to connect and reconnect with all of you.
HIGHLIGHTS
This morning we acknowledged Peace Day, which was on Saturday, by joining up with our buddies from the PEACE POD to create a peace tree. With their buddy, students had to design and create a 'Piece of Peace' to hang on our peace tree. It was great to hear the grade 3&4s getting their buddy to explain why they created their different symbols of peace.
Our Terry Fox assembly happened this morning. Students had a chance to revisit his story and why we are running this Friday. Please donate, if you can, so we can reach our group of $4500! In math we played some place value games to help students practice their number sense.
