HIGHLIGHTS
Ignite time was a choice of whole school SPARK in the gym or hang in Joy Pod to create your own colour. We saw many new colour coming to a paint store near you!
For Math today students had the opportunity to open their eyes to how we see math in everyday life. Their challenge today was to answer the following question: Where does the math live in grass? Using various samples of grass students brainstormed individually and as a group the many ways we can see math in grass.
Students pulled of a Buffalo Jump reenactment. We had wolves, buffalo, buffalo calves and a buffalo jump! Check out the video on our Twitter feed!!
Students had the opportunity to connect with the book COURAGE today. As we read aloud they had to write down connections from their life or from other experiences to the book.
For word of the day we looked at the word EXPERIENCE. Students had to write about an impactful experience they had and what they learned from this experience. Check out some of the experiences below:
